Token resistance

August 29, 2010

She offered token resistance
To hands ready for flesh

She never told her mother
That on Tuesdays
She was a working woman
On Wednesdays
A secretary
On Thursdays
A dog walker
And on Fridays she met me

We never laughed together
We never shared silence
She thought I had plenty to offer
In fair exchange for her breath

Quite brutal, nice brevity and economy of words.

Thanks. I find that brevity often is the source of my own satisfaction with my work.

  3. It was rather interesting for me to read that article. Thanks for it. I like such topics and everything that is connected to this matter. I definitely want to read a bit more soon. By the way, rather good design you have at that site, but don’t you think design should be changed from time to time?

My spam filter caught the above comment. I love it, who can resist spam from an escort agency?
